D.TCM, R.Ac, Student of Osteopathy (Year 4)
Jacqueline Raaymakers is nationally board certified in acupuncture and licensed to practice in the province of Nova Scotia as a member of the Nova Scotia Association of Acupuncturists (NSAA). She is a graduate of The Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary, Alberta, where she received her designation as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and R.Ac.
To expand on her studies, Jacqueline took part in an internship at the Mianyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Southwest China. There she gained a more in-depth understanding and exposure to the true essence of Chinese Medicine.
Jacqueline’s practice entails the use of acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, acupressure and herbal medicine, when applicable. In addition, Jacqueline is actively enriching her practice at Honey & Ginger, as she pursues her studies at the Collège d’Études Ostéopathiques in Halifax as a 4th year student of Osteopathy. This program provides further skills to enhance her treatments with additional tools for diagnosis and treatment.
