Jacqueline Raaymakers is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and licensed to practice in the province of Nova Scotia as a member of the Nova Scotia Association of Acupuncturists (NSAA). Jacqueline is extremely passionate about holistic medicine, aspiring to influence others on the importance and concept of holistic healing, and on the future and potential of integrative medicine in Canada.
Her studies first began here in Nova Scotia at The Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine where she graduated as a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.). The desire to pursue her studies and practice further took her to The Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary, Alberta, where she spent an additional two years studying to receive her certification as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Upon completing her studies, Jacqueline took part in an internship at the Mianyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Southwest China. There she gained a more in-depth understanding and exposure to the essence of Chinese Medicine.
Jacqueline is currently in her first year of Osteopathic training and studies, a profession which complements her training in Eastern Medicine. This additional education gives her more diagnostic and practical tools in her practice to ensure her patients receive a more holistic approach to their care. The Honey & Ginger team is thrilled to have her on board.
