Jacqueline Raaymakers

Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine, Osteopathic Manual Therapy

Jacqueline Raaymakers is board certified in Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine and Osteopathic Manual Therapy and licensed to practice in the province of Nova Scotia as a member of both the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia (ATCMANS) and the Nova Scotia Association of Osteopaths (NSAO).

A holistic approach to understanding each individuals needs and applicable care is the principle driving your treatment. Both modalities offer a unique approach with a commonality of addressing the root cause of dysfunction to get to the heart of the issue.

Jacqueline is a graduate of The Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM) in Calgary, Alberta, where she received her designation as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, D.TCM, and Registered Acupuncturist, R.Ac. Upon completion of her program, she pursued an internship at the Mianyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Southwest China, where she gained a more in-depth understanding and exposure to the true essence of Chinese Medicine.

Her practice led her to further explore the interrelations of the body from another lens and approach, leading her to the College of Osteopathic Studies (CEO) in Halifax. Over the course of an additional 5 years she earned her designation as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, D.O.M.P.

When applicable, Jacqueline’s practice entails the use of acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, tuina/acupressure, herbal medicine and manual therapy, musculoskeletal and fascial work, joint mobilization and cranial sacral therapy.

Expect an in depth health analysis upon your initial consultation/treatment applying either/both of these effective and holistic approaches, to provide you with the most comprehensive treatment plan. The Honey & Ginger team is thrilled to have her on board.
