Jen Scott is a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and an honours graduate of the Academy of Culinary Nutrition. She is dedicated to educating individuals about the health benefits of unprocessed nutrient dense food, natural supplementation, and improved wellness habits. Through coaching people to embrace and sustain new dietary and wellness objectives, she helps them create energy, positive momentum, stress reduction, and joy and exuberance! Research and experience has shown good wellness habits are a major contributor to personal happiness and the foundation of thriving lives.
Jen conducts a thorough assessment of each client’s health concerns, personal circumstances, goals, and preferences and a customized plan is provided. Jen assists client in implementing the plan, and provides follow up, accountability, and re-evaluations to ensure a smooth transition into a new healthier life and sustainable success. While specific recommendations of food or supplementations will vary according to each person’s needs, the overall eating roadmap she teaches is specific, simple, easy to follow, and translates easily into all aspects of real life. She believes having a well researched, balanced meal plan eliminates confusion, stress, and food waste.
Weight loss is a special area of focus for Jen. She has in-depth experience and knowledge of the mistakes and errors people make when trying to lose weight, as well as the habits necessary to master weight loss, and provides a specific meal plan for those trying to shed unwanted fat. She herself has struggled with periods of food excess/restrictions, has finally found freedom from food’s addictive pull, and is grateful to have the opportunity to share that ease with her clients.
Jen is also a wellness speaker who creates engaging and fun wellness presentations, workshops, and talks for various corporate and private organizations tailored to provide relevant training and inspiration to meet the specific needs of each group. In addition to nutrition she is also passionate about fitness, she is an avid exercise enthusiast who enjoys running, skiing, hot yoga, and resistance training, as well as leisurely walks with her French Bulldog Bentley! She is currently enrolled in the Canfit Pro Personal Training Specialist course and will soon be able to prescribe and evaluate fitness goals as part of her holistic plans.
